• Phone Numbers: We collect phone numbers for authentication purposes and to manage trip expenses with your contacts.

We use personal information collected via our App for a variety of business purposes described below. We process your personal information for these purposes in reliance on our legitimate business interests, in order to enter into or perform a contract with you, with your consent, and/or for compliance with our legal obligations.

• To facilitate account creation and logon process.
• To manage trip expenses and balances among users.

3. Will Your Information Be Shared With Anyone?

We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations. In the context of the TripMesh app, your basic profile information (like phone number and name) and shared expenses may be visible to other members of the same trip.

We may use third-party service providers (such as Supabase and Firebase) to store data and handle authentication. These services have their own privacy policies governing their collection and use of your information.

5. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

6. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

7. Account Deletion and Data Retention

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated data. To request account deletion:

• In the App: Go to the Profile page and select "Delete Account" (if available).
• By Email: Send an email to asunny583@gmail.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request" from the email address associated with your account, or include your registered phone number.

Upon request, we will delete your account and personal information from our active databases. Please note that we may retain certain information (like transaction records) for legal and compliance reasons, or to resolve disputes.
